A note on privacy.

The AI Street Journal is published by Kaan Taskent. We store the email address you give us for the newsletter and your name if you choose to share it. Delivery starts after you confirm your email.

Member accounts store your name, email, a hashed password, and your chosen topics. Personal podcasts use your preferred name, pronunciation, and interests to prepare your briefing. OpenAI prepares the script from your preferred name, pronunciation hint and selected news facts. Google Gemini generates the two synthetic voices from that script. The selection of stories reflects your interests.

Payments are handled by Stripe. Card details are not stored in our database. Email is delivered through Resend when enabled. Recordings are stored in a private Supabase bucket. Your account or private podcast link grants access to your three free recordings; further paid recordings require a current subscription. Keep your feed link private and replace it from your reading desk if it is shared.

Newsletter emails include an unsubscribe link. Briefing-ready emails have a separate opt-out and can be disabled in your profile. Cancelling email does not cancel a paid plan; manage that from your reading desk. For access, correction, or deletion requests, contact taskentbusiness@gmail.com.

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and browser storage to remember an unfinished briefing profile. We do not sell your personal information.
